I love this skirt. When I saw it, I had to have it. I was shopping with my friends a few years ago at the BCBG outlet and this skirt was on the $10 rack.

And I was like Yep, this is MINE! Some people would look at it and not know what to do with it, but I think its so versatile.

You can wear it so many ways.

What I’m Wearing:
Shirt: Arden B.
Skirt: BCBG
Shoes: Coach
Necklace: Forever 21
Earrings & Bracelets: Bakers

This particular time, I chose to wear it with a sleeveless shirt, gold pumps and colorful jewelry. These pictures don’t do it any justice. It’s time for a new camera!!!!

Don’t worry, I plan on getting one sooner than later.

Army Laced

I love mixing feminine and rugged pieces together.

I think they blend perfectly together. One of my Top Fashion Icons Rihanna does it so effortlessly.

I put together this military influenced shirt (worn as a jacket) with this feminine top and lace skirt.

I decided to accessorize with red, leopard and gold pieces.

What I’m Wearing:
Jacket/Shirt: Zara
Shirt: Forever 21
Skirt: Target
Shoes: Zara
Sunglasses: Forever 21
Earrings: Forever 21
Belt: Target
Bracelet: Gifted
Ring: H&M

I love how it turned out. SUPER CUTE, if I do say so myself.

Miami Dolphin

Ok, so this post is special to me because I am wearing not one, but two items I purchased while Thrifting at once.

This blazer is from my very first Thrifting Post and I recently scored these pants at the Salvation Army as seen in my Thrifting and 4th of July Buys post.

Another crazy friend of mine prompted the name for this post.

When she saw me at work she said I looked “Miami Doplhiny” hence the name of this post LOL!

This look was very easy and carefree and I LOVE IT!!!!

It’s true, you can look like a million bucks with Thrift Store finds.

What I’m Wearing:
Blazer: Thrifted
Shirt: Casual Corner (at least 5 years old)
Pants: Thrifted
Shoes: BeBe
Earrings: Nordstrom
Bracelets: Target and Random
Necklace: Random
Ring: H&M

I encourage everyone to step your Thrifting game up! It’s worth it.

So the day has FINALLY come that G turns 30!

Wow, I don’t know how I got so OLD so fast! Me turning 30 has truly been an adjustment to say the least. Birthdays are ALWAYS a heavy time of reflection for me. I extensively evaluate where my life is at that moment, how did I get there, and where am I headed. 30 is weighing on me like a ton of bricks! On the bright side, I will be bringing in my 30th Birthday in Jamaica, Yeah Mon!

Join me in celebrating 30 years of Fabulous me!!!

In preparation for my 30th Birthday, I participated in a Photography Marathon hosted by Royal Events and Services and ZDJ Photography.  This was such a wonderful event.  The Marathons are currently hosted in the following cities:  Tampa, Tallahassee, Atlanta and Miami.  I encourage you to participate if you are in one of these locations, you will get a quality product at an affordable rate.  Royal Events and Services offers professional and elegant event planning/coordinating and design services and is based in Tampa, FL.  Zipporah Davis is an excellent professional photographer that works to create images that are unique to individual personalities for all types of events and is based in McDonough, Georgia.  Check out their blogs for details provided on the links below:

Thank You God for Blessing me to see this day!

I had a ball in my 20's.  Let's see what the 30's will bring.

Thrifting and 4th of July Buys

I went to the Thrift Store again! I was actually in a hurry but found 3 Fabulous pieces in less than 20 minutes at a local Salvation Army. I managed to score 1 Blazer, 1 Pair of Pants and 1 Shirt. Take a look below at my Fab Finds:

New Blazer!

Blue Silk Pants

Plaid Flannel Shirt

I immedialtely took these finds to the dry cleaners because I know I plan to wear them really soon!  So excited!!!

I also did some shopping 4th of July Weekend. This is usually one of my favorite times of the year to go shopping but this year it wasn’t as exciting.

I think the reason is because the deals weren’t as good as they have been in past few years.

Nonetheless, being the shopper that I am – I didn’t walk away empty handed.

I managed to get some deals in Zara, BeBe and Nordstrom. Here’s what I got:

Leopard Shirt - Zara

Screen Tee - Zara

Polka Dot Shirt - Zara
Black Skirt - Zara

Colored Jeans - Zara

Feather Earrings - Nordstrom

Snakeskin Platform Pumps - BeBe

Red Pantent Leather Slingbacks - Zara
Not bad, but definitely not as good as last year. Oh well…
