Travel Swagg

Hey Dolls!

I hope you guys enjoyed your Thanksgiving Holiday, I know I did!  I had a great time at home with my family.  Living out of town from my whole family can be extremely hard at times so, the moments I do get to spend with them are ALWAYS special.

I MUST admit I wasn’t on my BEST Blogger behavior while I was home either, LOL!!  I wore some of the cutest looks but I didn’t take outfit post pictures like I should have been.  I was too busy taking pictures of my family.  I do have some pictures I can post so you guys can get a glimpse of what I wore.  That post will be coming soon.

For now I have pictures from my first day home.  This what I wore to travel from Tampa to STL and it was so comfortable.  I was so happy that the weather was cool enough to take advantage of wearing my Faux Fur pieces.

What I’m Wearing:
Vest:  Ross
Sweatshirt:  William Rast for Target
Leggings:  Poof via Marshall’s
Boots:  Wild Diva via Go Jane
Sunnies: Gucci
Earrings:  H&M
Necklaces:  Gifted
Bracelet:  Burlington Coat Factory & JoAnn’s
Rings:  Forever 21

I wanna Thank all of you for supporting What’s More Important Than Fashion?  I am truly grateful for you guys!

Military Chic- BDIB Assignment

Hey Dolls!!

I’m here with a really quick post today.  Its Bloggers Do It Better Time again!  This assignment is called Military Chic.  I for one LOVE this assignment because I own so many Military Inspired articles of clothing.  I buy so many pieces because I find it fun to dress it up with feminine and flirty pieces.
For this particular assignment I chose to wear this cute little vest I bought from Bebe a few years ago.  This vest is super functional.  I have worn it several different ways:  alone, layered and opened just to name a few.  I paired it with this Black and Brown French Connection Skirt.

What I'm Wearing:
Vest:  Bebe
Skirt:  French Connection via Marshall's
Shoes:  Missoni for Target
Sunnies:  Gucci
Earrings:  Betsey Johnson
Necklace:  Pnk Elephant
Bracelet: OldNavy

I FINALLY scored something from the Missoni for Target line. Check out my shoes, aren’t they cute?  I can wear these with so many things.  I am happy with them.  They are a good quality shoe.

Anyhoo, I just wanted to share this very quickly.  Enjoy your Thanksgiving Dolls!

What to Wear With My Shoes?

Hey Dolls!

Is it safe to say that even Fashionistas have dilemmas they can’t solve for themselves?  Sometimes we pick pieces that we just have to have and we’ll figure out what to do with them later.  Or we may just be a Shoe Lover and think about clothes last.  Well that is the case with this particular inquiry with my girl Victoria.

A while ago, Victoria sent me a picture of some shoes she purchased and she just thought they were to die for.  The problem was, she had no idea what to wear with them.  That’s where I came in and I was HAPPY to help!

Victoria what I like to call a "Certified Shoe Freak!"  This is not the only pair of shoes that she needs assistance with, my girl has so many.  But these were the priority.  Here are the shoes:

Aren't they C-U-T-E?  I figured since these shoes are so lively and colorful, I think they work well with Textured Neutral Pieces and Colorful Accessories.  Check out some looks I put together on Polyvore for Victoria to rock with her shoes:

Military Inspired Chic Look - As we have seen for the past few years, Military Inspired pieces have been a recent staple on the Runways and in the Everyday Fashionista's Wardrobe.  Since this would be considered more of a Spring/Summer Shoe, I wanted to give Victoria room to actually transition this shoe to the Fall Season.  Victoria is a Central Florida resident as well, so she can take advantage of some extra weeks of warmer weather through the Fall months and still wear her fabulous shoes!  Remember, we are all about being Fashionable and Financially Aware.  So we LOVE and always approve of items that you can enjoy practically all year.   More Bang for your Buck!

Denim Delights - Now for some people Denim is making a "comeback", but for others, Denim is a Wardrobe Staple!  I used Denim Dresses to illustrate how they can be revved up and lively with colorful jewelry, belts and of course the shoes.  Wearing a dress with the shoes, provides opportunity to show off the beautiful detail in the wedged heel.  This look could be worn anywhere from a Casual Friday at work to a Relaxing Weekend Afternoon Outing.

Ravishing Rompers - Rompers are such fun Fashionable Pieces.  They can be dressed up or down to be worn Day or Night.  Here we display two ways Rompers can be accessorized with Victoria's shoes.  The first look is perfect for Date Night or Drinks with the Girls.  The second look is more suited for an Afternoon Lunch Date, Brunch, or just a cute look for being Out and About.  Its totally up to the Fashionista's style and comfort level.

So Victoria, I hope you are pleased to know that you picked some great shoes that have versatility that is limitless.  I hope you enjoyed these recommendations and have fun rocking these shoes!!!

To all of my lovely readers, feel free to send in your Fashion Inquiries to:  I would LOVE help you with your Fashion and Finance related questions!!  Well, that's it for today Dolls.  Stay Fly and Financially Aware!

Preppy Pieces

Hey Dolls!

Lately, I have been craving what I like to call "Preppy Pieces" from American Designers (and Buberry too, LOL!!).  I think I’m falling in love with them because the pieces are Classic and can be worn so many ways and they will ALWAYS be relevant unlike certain Fashion Trends that come and go.   These pieces have been heavily influenced on the Runways all across the world this year.

In the Fashion Industry the style is known as Sportswear and this happens to be America’s main contribution to the history of Fashion Design. Some of today’s most commonly known American Sportswear giants include:  Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs, Perry Ellis, and Michael Kors just to name a few.

I’m not only loving the clothing, but the accessories are catching my eye too from brands like BurberryTory Burch and Coach.  Honestly, I’ve never been much of a Coach Girl, but the items in their more recent collections are starting to make me change my mind.

Equestrian Inspired Looks - My Favorite!

I can't tell you exactly what prompted my current fascination with the Equestrian Look, but I am LOVING it now!  Check out this Ralph Lauren Blazer I recently purchased from TJMaxx.  This is the key piece to rocking this look.  So you know I will be wearing this just as soon as I get this Blazer tailored.

This is one of my BEST purchases of the year!  The detail on the pocket is my FAVORITE part.  These Blazers are approximately $200+ in the mall but I only paid $60.  So I consider that a Fashionable and Financially Aware buy.

Keep in mind, these pieces can also be used as inspiration for you to find alternatives and create looks on your own.  You don't have to have these exact pieces to recreate the All American Preppy look.

Well guys, I hope you have enjoyed my "Current Cravings" for these All American Preppy Pieces.  So tell me Dolls, what styles are you currently craving?
