Blogger Inspired Fashion Week 2013 Featuring: Tosha - Bambi's Armoire

Hey Dolls!!

Blogger Inspired Fashion Week is STILL ON!  You guys may be wondering why this is still going on.  It’s called Blogger Inspired Fashion Week not Weeks right, HA!  Well I had such an overwhelming response from all of the lovely ladies I reached out to, that I had to include everybody.  So that is why Blogger Inspired Fashion Week has expanded to two weeks.  In my book that is a fabulous thing!

So let’s get into today’s feature shall we? Alright, today we have the beautiful Tosha from Bambi’s Armoire. I think I came across Tosha’s blog from a comment she left on another blog I follow. I checked out her blog and was amazed. Her pictures look like model campaign photo-shoots. This girl knows how to wear her clothes and work the camera for sure.
Tosha has such great style.  It’s very laid back with an edge but glamorous and carefree at the same time.  I love how everything she wears looks like it was made just for her.  During this interview process, I discovered that Tosha is a Freelance Stylist.  I admire that so much.  All the girls with Full Time Fashion Careers are so motivating to me.  Read Tosh’s interview below and get to know this Beautiful Fashionista and Wonderful Spirit!

Name:  Tosha Eason
Age (optional):  30
Full Time Career:  Freelance Stylist / Blogger

Tell Me and My Readers a little bit about yourself and your background.
Well I was born in Germany and I moved from there to New York then to Texas which is where I say I’m from because I spent most of my time there.  I moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and finish college, I did a few acting gigs here and there but decided I wasn’t quite sure how passionate I was so I would take a break.   I got into styling and loved it, my last job was as a Creative Director, which was really demanding although I loved the creative challenge.  Now I am just working as a Freelance Stylist and moving into full time blogging more, which I love because I have so much freedom in my schedule!

How would you describe your signature style?
Definitely edgy with a mix of class…and it can be a bit retro at times, I really love to just wear whatever I want with no restrictions.

How do you go about creating an outfit or look?
I don’t usually have anything planned, it usually depends on my mood, but I usually want to dress up every day although the weather and my exact mood tend to conflict with that little idea…

What is your FAVORITE Feature to accentuate?
Definitely my legs!

Do you have any Fashion Challenges?
Uhhhh I definitely have days where I feel completely uninspired…but I always have issues with prints…I love mixing them…but for me it has to look perfect…yes I’m a bit of a perfectionist!  So I put more effort and time into looks that involve print and texture mixing.

What are your FAVORITE places to shop?
I adore Zara…what girl nowadays doesn’t!  Of course Asos…Minusey…H&M…The Outnet…Barney’s…Pixie Market and every now and again Yoox.com.

Who are your FAVORITE Designers and/or Clothing Brands?
I profess my undying love for Givenchy…Ricardo Tisci is a genius…I admire his artistry sooo much.  Then there is the amazing gentleman named Alexander Wang that has my heart.  If I had the thousands of dollars he charges for his perfectly crafted clothing…definitely Balmain.  Lastly, Winston Wolf, Band of Outsiders, Tibi, Herve Lerger and I’m really loving the new era of Saint Laurent.
Is there a Spring/Summer trend that you’re dying to incorporate into your wardrobe?
Miniskirts!  I live in them

Why Blogging?  What turned you on to the Blogosphere?
Honestly, my friend suggested to me one day that I should start a fashion blog…and I thought…yeah no way.  I decided to try it two years after that suggestion and haven’t looked back since.  I’ve always loved fashion and put a lot of effort into my personal style, I just never thought I should document it.  I never knew this whole world even existed, but I think it’s great.  I so wish I had jumped on the bandwagon when my friend made the suggestion.

What thing(s) sets your blog apart from other blogs?
To be honest…that’s a hard one…I mean I think my photography is different from many other blogs.  The thing that I think sets my blog (and anyone’s blog) apart from others is that it’s me, it’s my space to be creative and express myself individually.  I set my blog apart from all of the other amazing blogs out there.

Where do you see your Blog a year from now?
I’m hoping to grow, and gain more readerships.  Most of all I want to post more often and add new inspirational content.
Name 3 Bloggers whose style you just live for.
I actually don’t have three, I’m so busy lately, but I do adore Karla Deras from Karla’s Closet (like most people).

As you know, my blog is geared towards FASHION and FINANCE, so tell me in what ways you combine the two.
I’m definitely a budget-nista!  I do most of my splurging on shoes, coats and jackets.  I usually stick within my weekly shopping budget to keep my spending habits balanced.  I don’t believe in spending my last dime or maxing out my credit card to have the latest or just to don an item on my blog.  Being a blogger can break your bank if you’re not wise and respond to the unintentional peer pressure.  I only buy it if I’m 100% in love with the item, and it fits in my wardrobe in the future.  One thing I remind myself when it comes to certain shopping adventures is that the availability of hot items isn’t going anywhere; there will always be another amazing item to purchase.  Fashion never sleeps!

What advice would you give to up and coming Fashion Bloggers?
I think I would say, be your complete self, be patient, and never compare yourself to another.  It’s so unwise to compare ourselves, just know that you bring something different to the table.  If you don’t know what that is spend time figuring out what your niche is, and don’t forget to have fun
while doing so!
Tosha gives such great advice.  I’m so glad she agreed to be featured for #BIFW2013.  I never would have guessed that Tosha was once a budding actress.  If I had to guess, I would have said model.  But I’m glad those things led you to do what you love.  Thanks for providing me and my readers some new brands of clothing to check out as well (even if it’s for nothing more than to drool over the items).  I’ll be looking forward to the inspirational content you add to your blog as well Tosh!  Ok, so now it’s time for the look I chose to replicate of Tosha’s.  I’m not gonna lie, this was one of the harder ones to select.  Tosha’s style is so different from my norm but I love it…helps me think outside of my Fashion Box.  So after going back and forth between MULTIPLE outfit posts...I finally decided to go with this look featured on Bambi’s Armoire on 5/24/2012 in a post titled:  Don't Step on My Snakeskin Shoes.  I hope you like my re-create Tosh!!
