Finance Friday: 52 Weeks - Happy New Year!

Hey Dolls!!

Happy New Year!!  I hope all is well and everyone enjoyed their Holiday Season and got some rejuvenation for this year of 2014!!  I for one am excited about it.  14 is my favorite number of all time (my Birthday is July 14th, duh…LOL!) so I know this is going to be a fabulous year!

Today’s post is going to be a quick one.  This is a Finance Friday post and I wanna do something fun with you guys.  Last year, I saw several people posting the 52 week money challenge and I said I was going to participate and never got around to doing it.  This year, I am making it my business to do it!  I would love it if you Dolls joined me.

For those of you who don’t know what it is, let me explain.  It’s very simple, each week you save the dollar amount of that week of the year. For example, the first week of 2014, you would deposit $1; the second week, $2; and so on and so on.  You got it? By the end of the year, you will have saved close to $1,400.  How cool is that?  I love this idea so much.

Below is a shot of the how the saving plan works.  I have also included a chart for those who get paid on a bi-weekly basis so NO EXCUSES!!!!

I’m so excited about this Dolls!!  I’m trying to decide what to do with my savings.  I’m thinking maybe a vacation or something nice for myself.  Either way, I’m doing it!  I wish everyone who plans to participate the best of luck! Let’s go for it Dolls and tell me what you plan to do with your savings below.

  4. It is on-line sites that make gold venture so natural today. All the data you have to make a gold buy is given and there are ongoing gold value graphs on every venture site too which implies you can screen your gold speculation effortlessly.
