The Clash

Hey Dolls!!

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending “The Clash”.  What is The Clash you ask?  The Clash is a Fashion Show designed to promote up and coming models and designers in the Polk County and Hillsborough County areas.  For those of you not from Florida, these are counties in the Tampa Bay Area (Tampa, Lakeland, Auburndale, Bartow, St. Petersburg, etc.).
When one of the designers Jasmine Hunter of JayHunt Designs contacted me about blogging for the show, I said of course!

The Clash showcased a combination of 8 designers and boutiques and a live performance.  The show itself is performance style as well.  You guys know I am FAMU Alumni and I have been accustomed to performance style fashion shows since my days in college, and The Clash took me back!

This collection of designers and boutiques are very rare and provide a very individualized approach to their designs and collections. The show kicked off with designs from "KayChic" by designer Kaylin Patrice.  Kaylin shared that her line provides styles that are Ready To Wear, Custom and Re-Vamps.  Check her out!
Next Up was "#1 Fashions" An affordable online boutique, owned and operated by the lovely Kelley Michelle.
The next featured designer was Jasmine Hunter of "Jay Hunt Designs".  I have been following her for quite a while now and I get more impressed with her each show.  Jasmine's line is all about "Sexy Sophistication" for the strong and confident woman.
Up next was "Diva Fit" by ShantelDivaFit is a new fashion brand that provides all the DIVAS with sexy, vibrant and glamorous clothes. This line caters to women and girls.

The fifth designer in the line up was Desiree of King T's.  "King T's" is aline that features Urban Fashion and Clubwear as well as pieces for infants and children.
Next in line was a showcase of the fashion provided at Addicted Boutique a very popular local boutique.
Then there was "Grier Co.", a contemporary clothing line created by Dadrian Grier.  I absolutely love how this line was styled for the show and the models SERVED it.
To closeout the show, Jay Hunt came with it again! I'm telling ya'll this girl doesn't stop. She has collections for days! Check out her finale pieces here:
So Dolls, I must say I enjoyed myself at The Clash.  I love performance infused Fashion Shows!  I hope you enjoyed the pictures and be sure to checkout all of these up and coming designers and models adding their footprints to the Fashion Industry.
