Spring 2015 Essentials

Hey Dolls!!

Ready or not, Spring is knocking on our doors and we need to make sure we are fashionable for it. Spring and "springtime" refer to the season, and also to ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth. With that being said, now is the time to ditch that heavy Winter Wardrobe and lighten things up for Spring! To me, Spring is the perfect season to be fun and flirty with your clothes. If you haven’t noticed by now, you will start to see more patterns, soft colors, lighter textures and shorter lengths on the racks and on the websites of your favorite places to shop. I’m not even what I consider to be a super “Girly Girl”, but it’s so hard not to go all girly and fall in love with the offerings for Spring 2015. Today I’d like to share some beautiful items I’m eyeing for Spring.

Ok, so let me let you guys in on why I selected these pieces:
Spring 2015 Essentials
Pastel Trench Coat - The classic trench coat has received a fashionable update. As of late you can find this classic item in all types of colors. Of course for Spring you will see them in every color from Pale Pink to Lilac, to Baby Blue and I think these colors adds another layer of chic to this classic.

The T-Shirt Dress -  I think that dresses are synonymous with Spring.  Typically, full and flirty but the relaxed and casual t-shirt dress is giving the traditional Spring frocks a run for their money.  These are perfect for enjoying Spring weekends.

Crossover Tops - I am loving these because they provide a bit more than the normal camisole or tank top and they have become interestingly popular this year.  This Rebecca Taylor crossover top is perfect for layering underneath suits or a standout topper with the bottom of your choosing.

The Sporty Dress - This season is offering a softer side to the Sporty trend.  Now were seeing items that aren't so literal but still fit in the sporty category and I am totally here for it.

Boyfriend Jeans -  I love the fact that these give our ankles the peek-a-boo we need for Spring.  Being covered up all Winter causes the desire for something a bit lighter and for this you can't go wrong with a boyfriend jean. I like mine a bit rugged.

Floral Print Baseball Cap -  My love for hats has grown so much in the past few years and this adorable hat just screams Spring.

White Pumps - I happen to LOVE white shoes.  To me they add a classic pop and a clean finish to any look.  These are perfect and I am a fan of the pointed toe.

Pastel Nail Polish - Manis and Pedis are a MUST, especially when the temperature rises and the toes are exposed more frequently.  This mint green color will pair lovely with multiple Spring looks.

Light and Airy Perfume - I am a HUGE fan of Marc Jacobs fragrances.  Daisy Dream will leave you smelling LOVELY for the Spring season.

Printed Tote - Like I said, this is the time to be fun and flirty with your wardrobe. This floral print Kate Spade tote will perfect for running weekend errands and keeping it cute.

A Nude Lip - Keep it light in the Springtime with a soft nude lip. This will pair very well with the softer color palette you will be donning.

The Flatform Sandal - These shoes had a good run last year and they are back for Spring 2015.  I was able to score a few pair last year and I'm so excited to rock this trend.

Culottes - Just like boyfriend jeans, these fabulous bottoms give your legs a breather without exposing to much.  They can be dressed up and dressed down and are comfortable either way.

Bright Sunnies - The sun will be out and you must protect your eyes and do it bright and fabulously no less.

Girly Statement Necklace - I love them because they can be paired with anything from a classic white tee to a cocktail dress.  This soft structured necklace is perfect for Spring.

I have to say I am totally here for this girly color palette!  So Dolls, what Fashionable Essentials have caught your eye for Spring 2015?
